Husband Was Apprehended After Plotting To Kill His Filipina Wife, Mistakenly Texted His Ex-Boss Instead Of A Hit man

Reports about violence against women continue to grow in number and cases gotten worse each year. This type of violence is also considered as a "hate crime" that includes rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and murder. Recently, a bank employee was found dead, allegedly raped before being killed and burnt.

According to The UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women states:

"Violence against women is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations between men and women" and "violence against women is one of the crucial social mechanisms by which women are forced into a subordinate position compared with men."

An American man named Jeff Lytle was apprehended in Monroe, Washington after accidentally sending his plot of killing his Filipina wife to his ex-boss instead of a hit man.

Jeff Lytle hired a hit man for $1.5 million murder-for-hire plot.

This 42-year-old man plot to kill his wife Rhoda Mee Funtanilla Lydle from Abra Philippines to a hit man named "Shayne". Lytle also said to Shayne to make it as if a robbery went wrong and do it after his wife gets back from work from a nearby shopping outlet, Walmart.

Lytle's wife Rhoda Mee Funtanilla Lydle is from Abra, Philippines.

Lytle also promised the hitman to split his wife's insurance worth $1.5 million after the deed is accomplished.

Unfortunately, the plot of killing his botched after his mistake of sending his message not to the hitman but to his former boss who immediately called the police and arrested him.

Lytle promised the hit man to evenly split his wife insurance of $1.5 million after the deed is accomplished.
According to the investigation, Lytle said that he has no plans of killing his wife and he just created the message to vent when he had an argument with his wife. He also said that he is not the one who sends the message but his daughter.

The cops refuse to believe his claim. Lytle was jailed in Snohomish County and booked for two counts of criminal solicitation of first-degree murder.
